ToolBelt Ball Volunteer Options
Option 1: Volunteer for the job where we need you the most!
Check the box below and enter your available times and we will assign you where we need the most help.
ToolBelt Ball is from 5:00 p.m. to approximately 12:00 a.m.
Option 2: Please list your job preference by number (#1 being your first choice, #2 being second, etc.).
We will make every attempt to assign you to your first choice, but you may be asked to volunteer in another capacity.
Help to prepare the event space and silent auction. Approximate shift time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00p.m (earlier if we are finished)
Gather up PWC property (decorations, auction items, props, etc.) and store in secured room. Approximate Shift Time: 10:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Monday morning after the event, meet PWC staff at Hilton Hotel to load trucks & vans to transport property (decorations, auction items, props, etc.) back to PWC offices. Approximate Shift Time: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Greet volunteers as they arrive, make sure waivers are signed, direct volunteers to their positions. Approximate Shift Time: 5:00 to 10:15 p.m.
Welcome guests to the event, direct guests to the ballroom, answer guest questions. Assistance with wheelchair needs may be included. Approximate Shift Time: 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Photographers take photos of guests including a list of "Must Have" shots and an assigned section of table shots during dinner. Shift times are staggered from 4:45 - 11 p.m.
Photographer Assistants ask guests being photographed for names and keep track photos taken. Volunteers in this position must be able to write fast and legibly. Shift times are staggered from 4:45 – 11 p.m.
Silent Auction Host will be on hand to answer any questions about the silent auction items and help collect bid sheets once the cocktail reception is complete. Approximate time: 4:30pm – 8:30pm.
Gather guests winning auction items and deliver to guests after payment has been processed by Check-out Cashiers. Approximate time: 8:00-10:30 p.m.
Assist guests in using mobile bidding during silent auction. Approximate time: 5:30-9:30pm Training provided
